MHD Policies

Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. Due to the increasing individualized nature of our services we offer, when a cancellation occurs, it creates large blocks of time that impact the whole salon, our service providers and other guests. We understand that things happen; however, we respect our service providers time as much as we respect yours.

We now require a credit card on file to secure any hair and/or skin care service appointments over one (1) hour. Please know that all credit card information stored is encrypted and fully compliant.

All hair and skin care service(s) cancellations require a 24 hour notice. Cancelling your appointment less than 24 hours, in advance, will result in a 50% fee of your scheduled service(s). No shows will rsult in a 100% fee of your scheduled service(s)

Permanent hair straightening, hair smoothing, color services over 2 hours
we require a credit card on file and a non-refundable deposit on half of the cost of your service(s) plan for all hair extensions and/or special services. The deposit will be charged and applied at the time the reservation is made. At the time of your appointment check out, all deposits will be credited to the total service(s) amount.

All hair extensions and/or special services cancellations require a 72 hour notice. Cancelling your hair extensions and/or special service(s) appointment less than 72 hours, in advance, will result in the salon retaining the full deposit with no credits or credit of the deposit moving forward on any other salon service(s).

We will gladly exchange unopened hair and/or skin care retail product(s), within 30 days of purchase date. We will gladly exchange opened hair and/or skin care retail products, within 14 days of purchase date. The exchanges will only be able to have a credit for retail only. The credit can only be used for retail, cannot be used for any service(s). A refund can only be issued in the case of allergic reaction or defect.

MHD Salon does not accept gratuities on any debit/credit cards. Clients may tip in cash or write a good check directly to your service provider.
